Adam Picard wins StormStruck WeatherPredict Consulting Scholarship

Congratulations to Adam Picard (M.S. Earth Sciences) for winning the nationally-competitive 2013-2014 StormStruck WeatherPredict Consulting Scholarship to continue his research on the fundamental physical processes behind tornado formation in landfalling tropical cyclones. In addition to a $1500 award, Adam will present his research at the Federal Alliance for Home Safety (FLASH) Annual Conference scheduled for 20-22 November 2013 at Walt Disney World.
