Geography PhD students Brisa Hernandez and Claire Schuch, and Professor Heather Smith, were recently interviewed by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation about the work of MAPPR (http://www.mapprnc.org/) and their nationally recognized Photovoice project which partnered local Latino Youth and UNC Charlotte Community Planning Students (led by Dr. Janni Sorensen) to conduct research on the social and spatial determinants of neighborhood health.
